Calculation Method (aka Capital Call Methodology)
Flow provides the ability for GPs / Fund Managers to indicate whether the fund called (or will call) additional cash to cover management fees and/or expense reserves in addition to the called capital.
There are three calculation methods available on Flow:
- Contribution — ONLY the amount that investors have subscribed to the fund.
- Gross — Investors' subscription amounts PLUS their pro-rated management fees.
- Investment — Investors' subscription amounts PLUS their pro-rated management fees PLUS the expense reserve.
Updating the Calculation Method on your fund is included in the "Edit Details" section. Simply select edit details, then scroll down to the Calculation Method drop down.
