Summary
A key part of a successful onboarding is ensuring the accuracy and completeness of LP onboarding data. The LP Data Review ensures that you have full access to all of the answers provided by your investors, and provides a set of tools and workflows to communicate updates and edits to those LPs.
Ultimately, you can choose to block countersigning of subscription documents until the LP has been approved by the appropriate party.
How to use the LP Data Review
The LP Data Review can be found by clicking on an investor on the Fund's Investor tab, and navigating to the Data Review tab in the slide out tray
On this tab, you will find two sections
LP Data
The left hand side of this tab will contain all of the questions and answers provided by LPs during their onboarding workflow. The data is conditionally rendered, so you will only be shown the data that the LPs were prompted to complete.
For example, if there are questions specifically for corporate investment account types, and the LP in question was onboarding as an individual, you will not see the corporate questions.
In addition to the answers provided by the LP, any documents the LP uploaded can also be accessed in this view by clicking on the file name next to the appropriate label.
The labels shown in the data review panel can be adjusted by a member of the Flow team if the reviewer requires further clarification on what the LP is answering. Please contact support@flowinc.com or your dedicated account manager if you need support relabeling any of the provided fields.
Accessing All LP Data
If you prefer to export all data provided by all LPs within a fund, you can do so by exporting a .zip folder. This .zip folder can be found in the additional options menu found to the right of the Add Investor button, and will make the .zip available for download in your documents tab once it has finished generating.
This export will contain a series of sub-folders, with each sub-folder corresponding with a different task in the onboarding workflow.
Within each sub-folder will be a spreadsheet containing all of the LPs as individual rows, along with the onboarding questions as columns. Each cell will provide the provided answer.
Additionally, each LP will have a sub-folder containing any documents they uploaded, such as drivers licenses and other KYC documentation.
LP Approval
In addition to reviewing LP data, the Data Review tab is also the location to find the approval workflows for LPs. For more information on how to use the LP Approval workflow, please see this help article
