This article explains how to use the "Transactions" tab on your fund's dashboard to manually add transactions on Flow. Please note, if you link your bank account by following the How to Link a Bank Account guide, your transactions will be automatically updated and shown under this "Transactions" tab.
You can also add transactions manually by using the Add Bank Transaction button.
Posted Date - Date of the transaction
Amount - Dollar value of the transaction
Memo - Give a detailed description or identifying information
Type - Indicate the type of transaction (ACH/Check/Deposit/Transfer/Wire)
Owner* - Assign to a specific Investor/Holding/Entity.
Tags - Customize tags to organize transactions
Notes - Additional field for notes
Add Supporting Documents - Add supporting documents such as a receipt, wire confirmation, or transaction report.
- *Attributing a payment to an investor with a subscription/commitment will update the payment received status. The total contribution amount for the fund will update accordingly.
