Background
Some investors prefer to complete documents by manually filling out and signing their subscription documents offline. In Flow, you are able to create investment accounts, edit investment profile information, and upload documents for investors that want to sign offline and deliver you the completed documents. Service providers may complete these actions by adding a single investor's information or through a bulk upload process.
Adding Investors Offline - Single Investor
1. Login to https://flowinc.app/login.
2. Navigate to the "Funds" tab on the left-hand side and select the appropriate fund.
3. Select the 'Investors' tab and click on 'Add Investors'.
4. From here you can add a single investor.
5. When adding a single investor, enter in all of the required information from the investor's offline signed subscription agreement. The 'Investor Legal Name' will be either the individual, entity or trust name they will be investing through. If a specific investor has a different fee structure you can enter that here. A side letter notification will appear on the dashboard for those with different fee structures. Once the information has been entered, click 'Add'.
6. After selecting 'Add', you have the option to add another investor. Leaving the 'Notify Via Email' toggled off, Flow will not send a message to the investor and you can Edit Investment Account Details and manage the Document Upload process offline before inviting investors to view their investment profile or documents on Flow.
7. Once you've added investors to Flow, edited their investment account details, and uploaded documents, you can send messages directly through the Document Upload modal or through the Messaging features.
